Francis PVF

Francis PVF is a 16.3 hand Hanoverian gelding by Foundation out of a Graf Goetz mare (both Grand Prix dressage stallions).  Francis is a kind, talented horse with a great temperament.  He has three powerful, expressive gaits, and is well-suited for a confident young rider working with a trainer or a confident amateur looking for a horse to develop to FEI level dressage.  Francis has been in professional training with Kaitlin Blythe through December 2022 and is currently in training with Jennifer Heiskell. This winter, his amateur owners spent time on ground work, riding out on trails and working over obstacles.  Francis is a favorite of our 15-year-old working student who tacks up and rides Francis to warm him up for training and rides him in between training sessions.

In 2021, Francis ranked 4th in the 3-year-old colts/geldings USDF Materiale Horse of the Year, with scores as high as 79.7.  Francis first dressage tests were with Kaitlin Blythe at the Global Dressage Festival 10 with scores in the mid and high 60s.
