From the first foalcrop of the stallion Fürst Gribaldi, this attractive young colt descends from a successful sport pedigree. His appealing type and elastic movement have already earned him notice at an early age and he was named Reserve Champion for the USDF New England Breeders Series Championships this year.
Sire Fürst Gribaldi (Fürstenball-Gribaldi) was bred in the US and then exported to Germany where he was initially licensed and passed his Stallion Performance Test. Now back in the US, he’s been consistently winning under rider Jannike Gray with scores into the 70’s at Fourth Level and has earned multiple Championships and scores as high as 85.9% in-hand.
The dam, Frau Schufro (Don Schufro-Wanroij), has been a successful competitor through Fourth Level, including Top 10 placings at USDF Regional Championships and the US Dressage Finals. Her sire Don Schufro was an Olympic Bronze Medalist and has been one of the top dressage sires in the year for many years, including siring Isabel Werth’s sensational mare Weihegold. Damsire Wanroij was an FEI competitor and was one of the early KWPN stallions for the influential DG Bar Ranch.
Schufro is registered with the Oldenburg Verband. He’s well-handled, intelligent, and offers a ton of potential and fun for a rider looking to develop their next prospect.
