Not just a pretty boy, but also a super amatuer friendly horse who loves attention and diversity. Luke is a steady to the bit boy looking for a kind rider who wants to learn together. He has been shown thru 3rd level at recognized shows with scores to 68% but needs a little more time to get really confident in the change. Collection is so easy with him as he is light and responsive to aids, with half pass quickly becoming his forte! This boy tries his heart out to understand and never says no! Even when confused, he keeps on trying to understand and doesn’t shut down, which makes him such a pleasure to work with. He needs an understanding rider who won’t push too hard to quickly as he is very talented, he likes to be a partner and not forced into position but ridden to the hand. At 8 years old, he has lots of time to develop muscles and understanding for FEI work, in fact, his canter is so easy and comfortable, he is showing great promise for collection and pirouettes. Luke is extremely intelligent and enjoys all his attention and is easily spoiled. He is safe enough for hacks with others or alone and enjoys diversity in his work. He has no health or soundness issues, no maintenance needed. This stout boy has great feet and is an easy keeper, wears a Med-wide to Wide tree saddle and can take up a very long leg (rider in video is 5″7″) He adjusts to whatever level rider is riding him and gives a very secure feeling of trust. I can’t say enough good things about this horse and know that everyone would want him in their stable. Luke is up to date on all vaccinations/teeth, lifetime recorded with USDF and USEF. Full disclosure he is a mild cribber in the stall controlled by collar and is non-destructive, he DOES NOT crib in turnout situation so a home with more turnout than stall time would be ideal.
