2020 filly, by Sternlicht GGF (Soliman de Hus) out of our imported Gribaldi daughter, Zild Firfod. Star is a brilliant chestnut with 4 whites, a blaze and a ‘look at me’ attitude. Currently 16.1, is expected to make 16.3 to 17h, very modern in type.
Sire Sternlicht has many championships in his career, and can be seen on Hilltop Farms website, along with his competition history. He is currently showing the GP.
Dam sire Gribaldi is internationally famous as a sire of GP horses, and was himself a world champion. The dams damsire is Schwadronneur, Danish horse of the year and a popular breeding stallion in Europe. The trakehner blood gives Star some fizz!
Star made her show debut in DSHB classes this year, with a median of 79.1%, making her Danish 2yo filly of the year, and 5th in overall USDF standings. She handled the travelling and ring time well.
In October, she went for her Danish inspection, and finished with 80%, placing her in the main stud book. The inspectors commented on her beautiful feminine type, strong joints and well developed uphill topline. Star is wffs negative, making her a great future breeding prospect too.
