Filou is a very sweet and willing 5 year old Hanoverian gelding, 17 hands, but does not ride heavy and is more leggy elegant. Great canter and expressive trot and a fairly good walk. He was purchased in Germany and shipped to the US for resale. He has been shown by a working student who is 5’2″ in Wellington in 2022 and scored high 60’s% and low %70’s in training level and first level tests.. He was again shown in MA with high %60’s.
He is easy to handle and is still considered a young horse, but deals with situations very well. He shows already his willingness for lateral work and has a super balanced canter . He is fun to ride every day and to handle – no stress. If it is a new environment you longe him for 15 minutes and get on and ride. He is not looky or reactive for a young horse. Good for farrier, vet ,and trailering.
Extensive vetting was done in Germany, neck and back included, and X-rays and videos were reviewed by my vet in the US. He is just a very sweet fun boy who is very talented.
